Wes Hope I HATE that Danielle and I couldn't make it for Wieblab #2. We just couldn't make it happen with everything else going on in life right now. So, I would love it if the awesomeness that is the two of you would continue on with the Wieblabs. And hopefully I could make it eventually. Or you could always road trip it. I remember Joel saying something back in Tampa about a trip through Tennessee... it's a great state (well, it has some great people and some great sights). You know you'd be met with welcome arms (the hugging kind, not the shooting kind). We miss you guys! Oct 25, 2008, 1:45pm
Emily Well since I am pretty much in love with you from spending three unbelievable and mind blowing days with you....I wouldn't change much if you were to do it again. The "schedule" that we had was perfect, the late nights made me happy, the laughs were just what I needed, and of course the teaching, conversation and shooting were relaxed and humble enough so that we could ask any questions that we needed! I think that I am in love.... Oct 25, 2008, 1:17am
Chris Taylor Sorry - forgot to add - is there some way I can subscribe to be informed anytime you make an announcement about any future workshops? Even an NY workshop would work for me, I'd fly over no probs. Oct 24, 2008, 6:08pm
Chris Taylor I would like my Weibners exactly as they are but in the UK! I would love to know all about your shooting style, lighting, posing/direction, technical stuff - that flash vid you did for the DWF has totally changed my reception photography, post processing and any little business nuggets you have but I would be mostly interested in the actual photography. If you can't make it to the UK then somewhere in NC would suit me as my mother-in-law lives in Charleston! I seriously intend to attend one of your Weibnars one day soon. Oct 24, 2008, 6:04pm
Raquita I spent most of Sept trying to figure out how to get to this workshop but failed miserably - but am glad to hear you are concidering more options I would love to do work shops wehre ever youa re and ifyou did a few in other areas (although I would like soemthing longer than just a day wit you guys even ) I would be game for what ever you could pull off.. feel free to email me I'm a good sounding board.. jaime as a recent attendee of the aforementioned AMAZING wieblab, i can attest to liking my wiebners early in the morning, late at night, three days straight and with a side of kingston. ;) Oct 24, 2008, 12:10pm
Pete Malone Hey guys! I have an idea. How about focusing on how to balance your business and your life. How to get your work done but keep it within reasonable business hours so that you can run your business and have some sort of life away from the computer as well. I think a lot of us out there are struggling with the 100 hour work week and multiple sleepless nights per week etc. Oct 24, 2008, 9:50am
Liz I was actually checking out your website yesterday and trying to figure out how long I would have to drive to get to you for a workshop (it's 7hrs for the record, very doable). It is something I am EXTREMELY interested in doing, just need to save my pennies to do so. I live in Ottawa, Canada and am planning on launching a small (part time) photography business in 2009 shooting pets and people. I have been volunteering a lot this year at as many charity events as I can to build relationships with people, get my name out there and gain confidence and experience. Your images are inspiring and I LOVE reading the blog - which I have been doing for over a year now. I don't think I will be able to afford to come to a workshop in February, but maybe next fall. I commend you for sharing your knowledge and teaching others, it truly is a wonderful thing. :) Sincerely, Liz Oct 24, 2008, 9:41am
