Neilye and Chris - Sept. 16th - Part 1

Tuesday, September 19, 2006 - Weddings
What a day! Neilye and Chris were just the nicest couple to work with. We started the day off at Neilye's parents house where all of the girls were getting their hair and makeup done - I got to goof around with the girls, which was a ton of fun, they were such a great group - then we headed to the church for the ceremony. Beautiful ceremony followed by a dove release and some quick family photos at the church. We then headed off to Lauxmont Farms at the Sunken Gardens, for the reception. This is where it got fun! They had the coolest set up for their reception. First they had cocktail hour in the pool area, which was just an awesome setting. After that, they moved everyone down the big main dinner tent, for some fabulous toasts by Neilye's dad Jerry, her MOH and Chris' brother who was the best man. Dinner was then served! After dinner, just as it was getting dark, everyone moved up to the "party tent" for the fun stuff! I have NEVER in my career as a wedding photographer seen so many people dancing at once at a reception! Neilye and Chris had a great band out of Baltimore that totally kept the party hopping. There were about 250 guests, and probably at least 150 of them were on the dance floor. It was so crowded we could hardly move!

Congrats to the couple - hope you have a totally awesome time in Switzerland, we had so many great shots from your wedding day - we had to put 20 faves up!
