Maureen and Tim's Wedding in Washington D.C.

Wednesday, November 16, 2011 - Weddings
Well we have been just all over the place this year! Some years it's like that and others it's not. This year we have been to Boston, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and now Washington D.C. We love traveling regionally, and think it keeps what we do fresh and interesting!

On October 22nd, we traveled to Washington D.C. for Maureen and Tim's wedding. Maureen had found out about us from 2 of her co-workers that used us for their own weddings. We loved working with all of them! Heather and Danny we photographed back in 2007 in D.C. and Kristina and Jamie's St. Michael's Maryland wedding was in 2009. Both super fun and great weddings and Maureen and Tim's was more of the same!

The ceremony was held in D.C. at Saint Stephen-Martyr and then the reception was at the historic Washington Golf & Country Club in Arlington, VA. Maureen and Tim had a traditional Catholic ceremony, followed by a stop at the Jefferson Memorial for some wedding party and couple portraits. The reception was full swing with a great band and lots of eating, drinking, talking and dancing! We had a great time and hope everyone else did too. On to the photos!
Oh yes, some nice Jimmy Choos...
Tim was excited and ready to go!
What an entrance, huh?
Yes, the ring WAS big. :)
When we arrived at the Jefferson Memorial, all these tourists kept taking photos of the wedding party as if they had never seen a bride or groom before. It was quite comical, especially when one of the tourists as Maureen if he could have his picture taken with her!
Perfect time of day to be here!
Lovely bouquets!
Joel set up this pretty sweet groomsmen shot.
And one of Maureen and Tim's fabulous portraits. The light and sky was just really stunning while we were there.
See Joel? Married!
Let's get this party started!
Yep, exact same moment....
...two different ways. Yeah!
