Amber and Ben's Black & White Wedding at Cork Factory
Monday, November 22, 2010 - WeddingsYay for Amber and Ben! We have been so lucky to have had so many fun couples this year, and they aren't any different! Their wedding was on October 15th at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster. They saw each other before the ceremony to get a bunch of portraits done, and we were so lucky cause we got to go up on the roof of one of the buildings to do some of their shots! It was all Amber's suggestion. Ended up it was super windy (Amber was a good sport with her hair!) , but made for some super dramatic shots. Love ALL of their portraits! Just had to blog a ton of them cause I coudln't pick a couple favorites. (We had an equally fun time at their engagement session last year!)
They had a fairly small intimate wedding, but everyone just had such a good time. We get to be a little more personal with guests when there is a lower guest count, and everyone just treats us like one of the gang. The reception was super laid back, and their were so many great details Amber threw in! She was going for a black and white vintagey theme, and I think she pulled it off! She had a cool old fashioned typewriter on her guest card table, and to correspond with that, she hand made typewrite keys as the table numbers! They were so cool I have a photo of them below. And the super awesome BLACK cake was done by none other than our pal Martine at House of Clarendon. Some great mood lighting by Shumaker PDT completed the look!
What a spectacular day! Congratulations guys!
