Teeny Weeny Wiebs #5 - Pumpkin Time!

Friday, October 9, 2009 - Teeny Weeny Wiebs Sessions
September's Teeny Weeny Wiebs sessions are here! Our favorite photos from the sessions (shown below) were hung in our gallery/studio here in Lancaster for Octoberr's First Friday (October 2nd). We had a great turnout that night and with your generous voting, we raised nearly $650 for Kids and Cultures!! And the winner of our voting was our first image below - Graydon! His print collected just over $160! His lucky parents will get to keep the fine art print that is hanging in our studio.

If you didn't get a chance to get in to the studio to see the gorgeous prints, no worries! The show will be up until November 5th.

In case you don't know what Teeny Weeny Wiebs are: Each month we will pick one day to do "mini shoots" that are themed. The shoots will last only 15 minutes each and only cost $25 for the session! Joel and I will be coming up with fun new ideas for the themes each month. Some of the sessions will be for kids, some for pets, some for adults - some for all ages! Yes, we are doing this each and every month! As an added twist to our Teeny Weeny sessions - we will be picking our favorite image from each session and displaying them in our gallery on First Friday each month. We will be using the photos to help raise money for a different charity each month. Here's the deal: Come in on First Friday and vote for your favorite Teeny Weeny image. You can vote by placing a monetary donation in a bucket under your favorite print. All of the money we collect in the buckets will go to charity, and the image that collects the most money wins! The client will receive the print for free that collects the most donations.

If you are interested in future Teeny Weeny Wiebs session - please send us an EMAIL to get more info! The spots go quick! Our next Teeny Weeny Wiebs sessions will be "Bedtime Stories" (we have lots of openings right now, but they go quickly!) - participants will wear their PJs, and we will be getting warm and snuggly with some bedtime fun! The sessions will take place on October 28th.

Here's Graydon! We were trying like heck to get him to smile, and he didn't want to have anything to do with it. Doesn't matter though, cause this cute "all business" look stole the show!
Baby George was having some fun becoming one with the pumpkin. :)
Miss Mallory was loving our little pumpkins and was playing a counting game with them on our fence.
Who can forget Audrey! Audrey had a lot of fun, but she took the job of painting her pumpkin very seriously.
Carson! We had just seen Carson a few weeks before this shoot, when we had gone down to his beach house in North Wildwood for some family photos. Believe it or not, but Carson was crying almost the whole time during this session. Poor little guy, we were happy to be able to snag this shot of him with a smile on his face. :)
Baby Lauren was something else! She just kept smiling away at us, and was making faces and sticking her tongue out. She sure was something! This photo we used in our front store window display.
Baby Lauren again, this was the print we hung in the actual show.
Claire! Claire was also enjoying the mini pumpkins - lining them up on the fence was a popular activity that day.
Mr. Riley was very curious about the pumpkins.
Josie just wanted to keep crawling away! We got her on the fly here as she stopped to stare at a pumpkin and then took off again.
Ryann was seeing how tall she could get with her mini pumpkin.
Keely wasn't sure what to make of the baby-in-a-pumpkin concept.
Evan and Austin decided to get down to business with their bone jammies.
Carey, Ellie and Maggie had a blast decorating their pumpkins. This shot was also in our front window display.
And this one was the one we chose to hang in the show.
Alexis and Shawn were being a little bit silly.
Ian, Ellen and Lillian were back for some pumpkin fun. They were being sillies behind the fence.
Tim and Stevie were all about the actual carving of these pumpkins!
So, we can't always let our clients have all of the fun. :) The Wiebner family got in on the pumpkin action since this is one of our favorite holidays. Joel and I decided to be pumpkinheads...
...and Zane and Haydn were just being themselves! :)
