Liz and Ryan - August 18th
Sunday, August 19, 2007 - WeddingsAddition: 8/29/07
I have to apologize to a few of our couples as I wasn't able to get their full blog entries up before we left on the 19th. Now that we are back I can give you the lowdown on the images below.
We really went back to old stomping ground for Liz and Ryan's wedding. They are from the Tamaqua area of PA - which is where the ceremony was held, and is smack in the middle of the Coal Region. Joel grew up in the area, so he was fairly familiar.
After getting a bit lost, and cursing at our iPhones for getting us lost (well Google Maps really) - we arrived to get some shots of Liz just as she was finishing getting ready. We ran outside to grab Liz' entourage of girls - she had 8 bridesmaids and 4 flower girls - then headed over to the church. Ryan was nervously awaiting, and we took a few quick shots of him and the guys and were ready for the ceremony to begin.
The kids coming down the aisle were so cute, and Liz was beaming. After finishing the family photos, post-ceremony we took a long country drive to Ashland for the reception. Liz' reception was sure hoppin' - the DJ was all over the dance floor and so were her and Ryan's guests. It was a lively party for sure! There were plenty of great opportunities with the guests, and I don't think we missed much! Thanks guys for showing us how to P-A-R-T-Y!!
