Kim and Scott - June 9th

Monday, June 11, 2007 - Weddings
Hey party people! It's been another long weekend - wedding day on Saturday and Zane's birthday party yesterday - but we are getting the week moving with some rockin' shots from Saturday's wedding with Kim and Scott! We have worked with Scott's "crowd" twice before - this is the 3rd wedding we are doing from his fraternity and it was great to see so many familiar faces! Kim had THE best details - they went with the theme of, "A Day in Paradise". Bright colors, seashells, and even a steel drum band made the day shine bright! We were at one of our favorite locations, Steinman Park at The Pressroom for the outdoor ceremony, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour which was brought to life by the music of the steel drum band. A short formal dinner was held inside at The Pressroom - yum! - and then it was over to Hamilton Ballroom at Wheatland Place for the PARTAY! I have never seen the ballroom look more spectacular, and the party rocked with the totally jammin' DJ Freez!

Check out below all of the fun stuff that happened on a gorgeous Saturday wedding in downtown Lancaster!

We showed up and started some portraits with the guys first thing - here's the crew looking dashing.
Kim arrived and got dressed quickly and we fired off a few portraits of her.
Kim and Scott decided to see each other before the ceremony and get all of their potrait time finished right away - they wanted to be able to just relax the rest of the day - so after they saw each other for the first time, we headed over to a VERY busy Central Market with the wedding party - and this crazy person in a cow costume ran out and had to ham it up for the camera!
I love the light, Kim's veil and the red brick in the background - gorgeous!
Kim's veil decided to launch into the air as we were walking to another location.
Playing with some shadows in between some buildings.
Joel grabbed this close up of the drummers doing their thing. Their music echoed throughout the park and set the mood for the afternoon.
Scott's niece getting some kisses!
Kim had all of her programs done in brightly colored papers - each one was different and unique!
Scott's best man, Brad gave a toast to remember!
Isn't this shot just TOO funny?!?
And the ballroom, looking outrageous!
