Lauren and Kevin - Nov. 25th - Part 1

Monday, November 27, 2006 - Weddings
What great weather for the end of November! It felt like September, with almost 60 degree temperatures. It was a great day to be out taking photos, and luckily, Lauren and Kevin planned it so we could go take pictures of them before the ceremony. With a 5 o'clock ceremony in late November, it is always dark afterwards, allowing no light for outside photos. But, these two were thinking ahead, and they planned to see each other before the ceremony so we could go to downtown Lancaster to get some great shots! We started out at Central Market, which was in full swing at 2:30 pm on Saturday, so we only got a few shots there, then walked down to Annie Bailey's, which is a great Irish Pub. They let us grab a few shots inside with Lauren and Kevin, then we crossed the street and did a few at the Courthouse. After our downtown trip was complete, we headed over to Mulberry Art Studios, where the ceremony and reception were held. It was a great night with lots of fun moments - check them out!

When Lauren and Kevin got engaged, Kevin had proposed with the ring hidden in a fortune cookie - how cute! Lauren's mom found this silver fortune cookie at a shop somewhere, and Lauren thought it would be cute to get some shots of their rings with it! Here's my interpretation.
Lauren and Kevin seeing each other for the first time, "all dressed up".
Walking downtown, a nice police officer stopped traffc for us to cross the street.
A very cool shot in Annie Bailey's.
Another very cool shot, this one on the steps of the Courthouse. The light was perfect!
Back at Central Market before we left, this couple was sitting on the bench talking to Lauren and Kevin and congratulating them, I thought they made the pic perfect!
