We got another fun package today! Yeah, like I said, the Wiebs like goodies in the mail. ;)

Michelle, one of our wonderful brides from last year was kind enough to send us a copy of the Ventura County Star from this past Sunday. So, we've been mentioned/quoted in yet another articel about the Trash the Dress excitement. This time they ran a big beautiful shot of ours from Jen and Mike's Post Wedding Session last summer. it's always nice to see your images in print :)

Thanks again Michelle, and your surprise is on it's way if you haven't recieved it already!

The article also featured images by Krystal and Matt Radlinski, Ginger Hendrix...

...and the Henderson Family.

Goodies make the Wiebs happy. When we were in Tampa a few weeks ago we met a very cool couple of North Dakotian's. Is North Dakotian's a word? Shawna and Kory make up Shawna Noel Photography. Hopefully the little tidbits of photography biz know how that we imparted balance out the goodies they sent us. All of the goodies had to do with North Dakota in some way or other, so we thought we'd share the fun stuff they sent.

Fargo, Mac and Cheese, Spaghetti, Chippers, ice, and a shovel (of course this is a little joke regarding our Traveling Shovel)

Fargo, awesome movie! We don't own this and it's been years since we've seen it, so we are pumped to watch it (as soon as we have down time).

Chippers? Hmmmmm....

We "tested" the Chippers on Zane. He's like the Mikey of our family. Zane will eat anything. Well...

"Here Zane, have a piece of chocolate...

...WITH POTATO CHIPS IN IT...

...HE LIKES IT!"

We just want to thank you guys for the awesome gifts. They are much appreciated and they will all go to good use. Some just faster than others. :)

Ashley & Nate - Engagement

More Engagements
Joel

Why don't we do more winter e-sessions? It's not for a lack of color. I guess it's the cold weather. Nah, not in Pennsylvania. I mean, when was the last time it even got below 0? Well, Ashley and Nate asked for it. They wanted a winter e-session and •gasp• a sunset/night time shoot! No problem. In fact that's when all of the color comes out in Lancaster. We had beautiful light and a pretty hip couple to catch it.

We took a little walk around Lancaster with Ashley and Nate starting at our gallery on Arch St. Laughter was not a problem between these two. We walked, talked, made up words, and had a pretty darn good time. Take a look at the pics and tell us what you think.

This shot cracks me up, because it's serious-ish but you can tell Ashley is about to bust up laughing at Nate. Have you noticed Nate kinda sports a Dane Cook resemblance?

For some reason this shot reminds me of "City of Angels", that movie with Nick Cage. Yeah, total chick flick, but I dug it.

Can you guess what day in May they are getting married?

Rita and I both had a different plan for this pizza shop stoop. Can you guess which one Rita shot and which one I did?

Who hasn't felt like this before? This shot reminds me of dating. It's like that last kiss of the night before you have to go home. Just a warm nostalgic feeling.

OK, after that last comment I need to talk about something manly. Football... erm, no. I don't watch football anymore, but trust me I am manly :) Grr

Nate got 7U all over his jacket in this shot, aw it was a mess. Ashley was smart enough to stand next to 7T.

Interviewed and Published - The Ventura County Star

Last weekend we received a phone call from a reporter at the Ventura County Star, in California. He was writing an article on the Trash the Dress phenomenon, and was hoping to interview us. Joel gladly gave him an interview and just yesterday, in the Sunday edition, the article ran in the paper. Joel was quoted along with the above photo from Jen and Mike's post wedding session, was published in the online article. Of course we don't live in Ventura, so we didn't actually get to see the printed paper - if there is any blog followers out there that have access to this paper and can get us one, we would -

1. Love you forever. :)
2. Give you a cool thank you gift. :)

We are thrilled to be published once again, and are glad to see the continuing success of artistic wedding photographers around the globe. Check out the THE WIEBNERS in the Ventura County Star!

Oh and before I forget, our good friends over at Trash the Dress (see the link above!) - have a brand spankin new site! It's yummy and full of new images so be sure to check it out!

Are you tired of unwanted catalogs in the mail? Do you receive just too many? I know I do and I am always tired of wasting all of that paper. Every time we go away on a trip, I return home to a foot high stack of mail, and 75% of it is junk mail. I was just watching Today on NBC, and luckily I tuned in just in time to see a great feature. They were featuring the web site -

CatalogChoice.org

What a great idea! If you want to stop receiving all of those catalogs in the mail, all you have to do is create a simple account with you name, address and email - and choose the catalogs you no longer want to receive. It's so simple! Really, who has time to make phone calls to all of those companies to cancel the catalogs? I know I don't - and I am looking forward to taking advantage of this site - and help save some trees!
