Do you like to have fun? We do, especially with our photos. We wanted something a little different than the average blog out there, so along with our super talented Blog designer we came up with a Favorites section - or "Wiebner Faves" as we like to call it. What is it you ask? more »
Well, under each photo, you will see an "I Like This" box. If you really like that image, if it tickles your fancy, or makes you laugh, or just plain old makes you smile - go ahead - check it. We know you want to. Each time that box is clicked on a photo, it adds to the running tally for that image. The top 14 favorite images on the entire blog will be shown as thumbnails in this section. Just so you can see the most popular images of all time on the blog. A little something out of the ordinary - it never hurts to be different!
Also, blog posts can be favorites. Now that we have comments available, you will see a little bar meter at the bottom left of each post. Once the meter hits a certain number of comments, its automatically promoted to a "Wiebner Fave Post". :) Something else just for fun!

I find it incredibly difficult to write about us when put on "The Spot". "I need a 500 word bio about you and Joel, now!" Who can do that? How do you make your own personality shine in a few words, let alone that of two people? Well, I am going to give it my best shot. If you really want to know about US - who we really are - read the blog below. We really try to keep it updated as often as possible, and hope that our fun, casual personalities shine through in the words you read and the images we capture for our clients. The blog below is our way of communicating our lives - both personal and professional - with clients, friends, family and colleagues. We believe strongly in using words and images together to communicate our passion.
I am going to keep this short and sweet - Joel and I were meant to be together - to live, love and be happy making photographs. We were both photographers before we met over 9 years ago - we met behind a camera, and continue to feed off of that energy. We are a rock solid husband and wife team and we wouldn't want it any other way - we work together 24/7 and never tire of each other. We have had our business since November 2000, and have thrived on photographing weddings as our main photography genre since 2002. We love what we do. We like to think we look at the world in our own way - not photojournalistically, not traditionally, not artistically. Just as a Wiebner. If you like what we see, then you will like us too. Oh and don't forget to comment in the blog on our two little darlings - Haydn and Zane - they are pretty darn cute little Wiebners. Enjoy! - Rita
Made ya look, didn't I! Monday morning we had the huge pleasure of photographing baby Katie. Her mom and dad had a book up on the shelf entitled, "Katie and the Beanstalk" - how cute! Even though the book was cute, the real Katie was even cuter and stole the show. What an adorable, big eyed, happy, easy-going little bundle of goodness! If there is such a thing as a baby model, well, Katie could be it! Can you tell we had a great time? Enough mouth running, on to the cute pix!

A Trip to the Railroad Museum Sunday, January 28, 2007
Today we took the boys to theRailroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. We have been there before with the kids, Haydn was a HUGE train fanatic from the age of 18 mos. until, well, he still is! We were going to go the State Museum in Harrisburg, but they are closed for repairs. We figured since the boys really enjoyed the movie, Night at the Museum, this would be a good time to introduce them to some history. Anyway, I am getting sidetracked. Since the State museum was closed, we decided on the Railroad museum instead. It was a bit chilly in there (34 degrees!), but we still had a great time. The boys loved running around to all of the trains, and they were able to go on some of the cars, AND they met the "conductor". He showed them how to wave at the passengers and work the train. It was a great time, and we got some fun pix as usual!

PS. Joel was playing around with some new processing techniques for some of the shots - let us know if you like any of them!
Saturday we spent the day outside shooting. Yes, outside for 4 hours in 20 degree weather - yikes! It was quite chilly, and I couldn't really feel my feet or hands the entire day, but we got some great shots - so who cares! The afterrnoon was spent doing some great creative concept shots for a local non-profit organization. I don't want to divulge who it is just yet, as their new web site is going to be going live in a few weeks, and they will be using the shots from today for the new site. I will post again when it is up and running, and provide a little more info from the shoot. I can say, that the people we photographed are all board members of the organization and work in a creative field.
We had a ton of fun with this shoot and these are just a few of the great shots we got! We didn't want to post all of the really great ones yet, as the organization wants to save those for their web site release - stay tuned in a few weeks to see the rest!

Joe Buissink / Marcus Bell Seminar - Baltimore Sunday, January 28, 2007
Friday we got up WAY too early and headed down to Baltimore to see 2 of the best wedding photographers in the world speak. We totally believe in learning as much as we can, and who can go wrong with hearing two of the "greats" share some of their secrets? The entire day was spent being inspired, seeing amazing images, and learning how to best serve our clients. We came away with our heads and hearts bursting - they are both extremely inspirational speakers. Many thanks to Joe and Marcus for sharing their passion and infecting us with it!
Oh, and we took these pix with just a little point and shoot camera - so please excuse the fact that they are not up to "Wiebner Standards"!
First pic here is one of our photog. friends Lori, who rode down with us.
Wednesday night we took the boys out to the big ole' C-H-U-C-K to the E to the Chazeeze. (That's secret code so the boys don't know that we are talking about that place!) Anyway, we have been couped up in the office a lot in the last few weeks, so we needed to get out and have some fun with the boys. Weeknights are great at Chuck E Cheese, because they usually aren't that busy. (Weekends are a nightmare!) - So here are some fun pix of the boys playing games and having fun!
