Downtown Lancaster Engagement Session! Erika & Brian & too many books!

Friday, April 23, 2010 - Engagements
Yay for Erika and Brian! Erika lives in Boston and Brian lives in Kentucky, so this was our first time meeting. We really don't like to go into an engagement session without knowing our couples, so we sat down for about an hour first and got to know each other. (Coffee and crepes at Rachel's Cafe & Creperie, mmmmm!). Erika had booked us through email and phone since she is long distance, plus she knows our good friends Brock & Becca. This is one of the best ways to start out an engagement session when you don't know your couple, trust me! It made the session so much more comfortable and relaxing for Erika and Brian! We found out all about these two, and they have such a great story. They met online and started dating long distance. Their proposal story was the best, the short and sweet version was that Brian flew up to Boston to surprise Erika for her birthday last year. He sent her on this long scavenger hunt, (she had no clue that he was waiting for her at the end) - and then surprised her at the end of the hunt by being there, which she said was the best! But then further surprised her by proposing! We clicked right away with these two and I think you can see it in the photos. Oh yeah, the photos! I was having such a good time telling you about the time at Rachels I actually forgot about the session part of it! After the fun at Rachels, we walked around downtown Lancaster, and then ended up at one of my new favorite book stores, Winding Way Books. Erika and Brian love books and actually have them tied into some of the deco for the wedding in July. We had way too good of a time in there!

Oh and just because Joel is such a techie, he wanted me to mention that this is my first time blogging from the iPad! :)
