Do you like to have fun? We do, especially with our photos. We wanted something a little different than the average blog out there, so along with our super talented Blog designer we came up with a Favorites section - or "Wiebner Faves" as we like to call it. What is it you ask? more »
Well, under each photo, you will see an "I Like This" box. If you really like that image, if it tickles your fancy, or makes you laugh, or just plain old makes you smile - go ahead - check it. We know you want to. Each time that box is clicked on a photo, it adds to the running tally for that image. The top 14 favorite images on the entire blog will be shown as thumbnails in this section. Just so you can see the most popular images of all time on the blog. A little something out of the ordinary - it never hurts to be different!
Also, blog posts can be favorites. Now that we have comments available, you will see a little bar meter at the bottom left of each post. Once the meter hits a certain number of comments, its automatically promoted to a "Wiebner Fave Post". :) Something else just for fun!

I find it incredibly difficult to write about us when put on "The Spot". "I need a 500 word bio about you and Joel, now!" Who can do that? How do you make your own personality shine in a few words, let alone that of two people? Well, I am going to give it my best shot. If you really want to know about US - who we really are - read the blog below. We really try to keep it updated as often as possible, and hope that our fun, casual personalities shine through in the words you read and the images we capture for our clients. The blog below is our way of communicating our lives - both personal and professional - with clients, friends, family and colleagues. We believe strongly in using words and images together to communicate our passion.
I am going to keep this short and sweet - Joel and I were meant to be together - to live, love and be happy making photographs. We were both photographers before we met over 9 years ago - we met behind a camera, and continue to feed off of that energy. We are a rock solid husband and wife team and we wouldn't want it any other way - we work together 24/7 and never tire of each other. We have had our business since November 2000, and have thrived on photographing weddings as our main photography genre since 2002. We love what we do. We like to think we look at the world in our own way - not photojournalistically, not traditionally, not artistically. Just as a Wiebner. If you like what we see, then you will like us too. Oh and don't forget to comment in the blog on our two little darlings - Haydn and Zane - they are pretty darn cute little Wiebners. Enjoy! - Rita
Adrienne and Pat will be married coming up in December, and we were so thrilled to be able to work with them! We photographed Adrienne's dad's wedding a few years ago, and they all loved us and our work so much that Adrienne wanted us for her wedding. Woohoo! We love working with families over and over again. So Adrienne wanted to do her session at her mom's house - she has a cute backyard and patio, and some lovely flowering springtime trees. So we worked ourselves around the property and caught some moments of Adrienne and Pat having some snuggles and laughs. It's gonna be a wonderful December wedding!

Lauri & Paul's Washington DC Engagement Session Monday, October 1, 2012
We met up with Paul and Lauri on an early Sunday morning in Washington DC near where they lived. Their wedding is coming up in a few weeks, but they wanted to get some engagement photos in before the wedding. We had a great time walking around in the neighborhood around the Spanish Steps. These two are just so funny! And Lauri - she makes the BEST monkey face you have ever seen! We caught her doing it below. So awesome! Before the session was over, Lauri and Paul changed into their Washington Capitals gear, and we had a rip roarin good time. Well they did, smacking each other with their towels, and play fighting. We had a great time shooting it! I was roaring with laughter. Can't wait to shoot this wedding!

Laura & Steve's Engagement Session in Downtown Philadelphia Friday, September 14, 2012
August 20th we headed to Philadelphia again to photograph Laura & Steve's engagement session. They had their first date at the Kimmel Center, and a nearby restaurant, so we hit those spots. It was cool hearing their first date story! And we were in the Kimmel Center during the day, when it was totally dead. We were photographing Laura waiting for Steve, and some random passerby was like, "Is she an actress?" It was funny, c there was some kind of film or movie or music crew or something, taking up all of the alley and street parking surrounding the Kimmel Center.
After the Kimmel Center we walked out onto Broad Street and did the classic center of Broad with City Hall in the background shot. We walked up the street a bit and then circled down to this cute little side street where they had their first date dinner. The restaurant has changed hands since then, but we still took some photos on the front stoop. And! The cute little store next door. That was a great find!
Looking forward to this wedding in October!

Alli & Tim's Penn State Engagement Session Friday, August 24, 2012
Alli & Tim's wedding is next week! But we squeezed in a quick trip up to Penn State a few weeks ago to photograph some engagement photos for them. It was a fun day! We walked around downtown, and found some cool murals and alleyways to use. Then Alli & Tim changed in to their Penn State gear, and we did some shots outside Beaver Stadium. Alli was bummed she couldn't get in (believe me, they have connections, and there isn't NO ONE getting in to that stadium). But we had a lot of fun getting the shots we did behind the stadium. Too much fun. No really. It was fun. :)

Alli had custom Jerseys done up for each of them, so that together, they were their wedding date. :)

Kate & Sean's Engagement session Snuzzling Around Downtown Lancaster Thursday, July 12, 2012
Kate and Sean are on the ball! Their wedding is next July, but they are getting the plans made and out of the way, so they can enjoy their engagement! Kate used to work for LCCF, and Joel did some commercial shoots with her in the past. When she got engaged, she came right to us! Sweet! She had lived in Lancaster for several years, so she wanted to have some of the Lancaster Downtown vibe captured in her engagement session. We walked and talked, and talked and talked! We had a lot to talk about with Kate and Sean, it seems we hit it off wonderfully. Always a great thing with our couples! But Sean and Kate have been together for a long time, so all of this kissy kissy and huggy huggy and snuzzle snuzzle (that's my made up word - snuggle + nuzzle = snuzzle, and yes, I used it at the session) - was old news. We had to make sure they were showing how much they loved each other! But for real, they are totally in love and had a great time with us and us with them. Check it out!
