Pamela and Chris - Some Philadelphia memories...

Thursday, March 6, 2008 - "Just Because" Portraits
Last week we had the extreme pleasure of an afternoon trip to Philadelphia to photograph Pam and Chris. Pam had contacted us several weeks ago about photos (she had worked with one of our grooms, Matt, from our Dec. 31st wedding) - anyway, her and Chris are moving to Vancouver. Actually, they moved the day after the shoot! Chris' job is taking them to lovely Vancouver, but they wanted to get some photos to remind them of their time spent in Philadelphia. Pam was born and raised in Philly, so it was especially meaningful for her.

It was blistery cold that afternoon, but we walked several blocks from Pam and Chris' apartment down to City Hall and back, and did a bunch of stuff in their neighborhood and their apartment building. Even though there were moving boxes everywhere, their apartment was chock full of little nooks and crannies just waiting for us to take advantage of. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Chris and Pam and hopefully we will get up to Vancouver sometime soon to visit them (and several other friends we have up there!) ;)

Hope your move went well guys!

First up here is a little stroll in the alley next to their apartment building.
Sitting in front of the famous Philly Love statue, we had a little fun...
On the walk back to the apartment, I spied this great light on this wall, super yum!
Same wall, different nook, different light. In a few minutes the light above was gone, but we were ok without it. ;)
Joel really liked Chris' shirt. :)
Ah the joys of moving - stuff everywhere!
This one is my favorite. This was in Pam and Chris' bedroom, nicknamed the "Panda Cave" - Pam told us the previous owner had decorated the entire place in an Asian theme. These sliding doors worked awesome for this shot!
Some lovin on the fire escape!
And up on the roof, Chris and Pam spent a lot of time up here entertaining friends.
So long Philly - hello Vancouver! A last shot with some of the city in the background. It was a joy working with you both!
