Krysta, Paul, Nate and all those dogs!
It's weeks like this that I really love what I do. :) We had 3 really great portrait sessions last weekend, and looking through all of them, every single one makes me smile. Krysta and I have been scheduling and rescheduling this portrait session for months! She first contacted me back in the spring about it, and we set it for August, well then I think it rained (imagine that!) and then we rescheduled, and it rained again and finally we got to get it done this past weekend. Whew! So we hiked out to Denver, PA - to the middle of nowhere really - and were greeted by Krysta and Paul, 3 rambunctious Border Collies, and 1 Nate, who is Krysta's stepson. We used to work with Krysta a long long time ago at Clipper Magazine, so we were excited to see her again!
It was great. Nate was fun, the dogs were fun, the whole family was fun! They live in a REAL log cabin, which was pretty darn cool, and had just a lovely yard to play in. You can see below that we didn't have a good time at all. Nope, not one bit. Sarge, Ellie, and Brit were all about the bag of cheese Krysta was using to get them to behave for the photos. They were really, really good doggies! And Nate just started playing trombone, so we had to get that in on the shoot too! All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better day or better family to work with!
