Amy & Chad and lots of family!

So about a month ago, we had a whole boatload of good times with Amy and Chad and their families. We photographed Amy and Chad's wedding back in 2007, and when they saw we were having a Buy 1 Get 1 Free portrait session sale last winter, they jumped on the chance to get in front of the camera again. With the wacky rain and weather this spring, we ended up doing both of their sessions in the same week, the 1st week of June. We started out with Amy and Chad and Amy's parent's at the Lancaster Public Library - they are all avid readers and book lovers, and Amy's mom even works at a library. They thought it would be a great spot, and it was! We played around in the library and got some shots with their favorite books, and finished up with a few shots in the block around the library.

Later that week, it was Chad's family's turn, and his side is significantly bigger! With siblings and nieces and nephews, I think we had a total of 13 in the group. The more the merrier! We headed to Lancaster Central Park, and walked around (avoiding the burn hazel this time - Joel is notorious for finding it in parks). The main focus was the whole family, but we also got some smaller groups and the kids playing around. They were a fun family! It was great to see everyone again!
