Erin & Tristan's Wedding at Cork Factory in Lancaster, PA

Tuesday, August 16, 2011 - Weddings
July 16th we photographed Erin and Tristan's wedding in downtown Lancaster City at St. Mary's for the ceremony and then Cork Factory Hotel for the reception. It was a gorgeous day, no rain, blue skies, perfect weather! Erin and her gals got ready at St. Mary's in the rectory and we had some fun under the fig trees behind the rectory for her portraits with the girls. Tristan arrived shortly after we finished up with Erin, and we corralled him and the guys over to the parking lot behind the school at St. Mary's and did some portraits there. After a standard mass ceremony and a few family photos, we hit the streets with the entire wedding party for some street shots. As you know, we are fond of Lancaster streets and alleyways. There are so many great brick buildings, colors and textures in our beautiful city! We walked around for quite some time, and even stopped in at Dip Co., while Erin and Tristan and the wedding party had a drink. It was a great afternoon!

The reception was totally jammin' as they had a band, and it was a band whose members they were friends with. Erin & Tristan are both musicians, and most of their friends are as well. One of Tristan's groomsmen was even up playing trumpet with the band (he plays with them some times) and a wedding first - the wedding limbo! How lo can you go?? That was actually very entertaining as there were some VERY limber and flexible guests there. Great photo opportunities! We had an excellent day and we hope Erin and Tristan did too!
