Camille and Jim's Wedding in NYC!
Monday, December 20, 2010 - Weddings
November 6th we traveled to NYC for Camille and Jim's wedding (you have to remember their engagement session from October). What a day! Camille had the best details - so much lime green, she was after our hearts! (Ya know that's a favorite Wiebner color.) Her mom also made sooo much for the wedding! She is a seamstress and made Camille's dress, the bridesmaids dresses, her own dress, napkins for the reception, pillowcases for Jim & Camille's wedding night....the list goes on! I am sure she made other things but I just can't remember them all. Camille really put a lot of thought into all of the colors tying into the wedding, even down to the lime green Moleskin journals for the guests favors! I really loved those. The big day started out at the Gild Hall Hotel, where everyone got ready and the big "first look" happened. After we did a few shots at the hotel, it was time to hit the streets for our walking tour around the city! (Ok, we didn't cover ALL of Manhattan, that would be just ridiculous, but we did put a lot of pavement behind us that day.) We did some cool shots in the streets, played on the park benches at City Hall park, then headed down to the piers for a good view of the Brooklyn Bridge (Jim loves bridges!). We were then steps away from our ceremony/reception location of Bridgewaters. We had actually worked there a year ago, in fall of 2009. It's a great venue! And since I am on vendors, let me mention the other great ones we worked with:
Videographer - Dave Williams from Cinema Cake in Philadelphia
Cake (or should I say cupcakes!) - Sweet Sisters Cakes
Florist/Event Design - Shawn Rabideau
The ceremony was a candlelit ceremony, followed by a reception overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge (Bridgewaters has spectacular views!). We couldn't have asked for a better day! Congrats you guys!
Camille had the BEST green shoes!
